Framed by hardwood timber screens and sheltered under the cooling, dappled shade of multi-stemmed Prunus serrula trees, the Urban Serenity Garden offered a clean, uncluttered design and an overall feeling of calm and unity.

Upon entering the sunken pool area via the floating sawn Yorkstone stepping stones, visitors were enveloped by textural planting, soothing sounds of running water and the visual intrigue of an infinity-edged pool.

The planting style was predominatly relaxed with an evergreen structural presence of Buxus domes and a Hedera screen, that contrasted and celebrated the texture and colour of the perennial planting.
